Release ImageCapture 9.7
This month, release 9.7 became available. The latest version of our software includes a number of great new features. The most important developments are listed in this article. We make a distinction between general features and features that are application-specific.
Multi-factor Authentication is one of the best tools to protect organizations, users and privacy-sensitive data and documents. Multi-factor Authentication provides an additional threshold when logging into an account. Think for example of a verification code sent by SMS, or the Microsoft Authenticator app. From release 9.7 onward, in addition to the usual login method with ImageCapture login data or with Windows Authentication, it is also possible to log in by means of Multi-factor Authentication.
All invoices and receipts that are pending or have been processed are stored in ImageCapture’s digital archive. Access to the archive can be set up so that employees can only view their own documents or, for example, the documents of employees for whom they are responsible. As of release 9.7 the digital archive is also available via the mobile view. This allows you to access all invoices and receipts on the go, simply via your smart phone.
Earlier we introduced a new functionality for processing repeating entries. With release 9.7, this functionality is now also available to users of AFAS, Exact Online, Exact Online Bouw, Visma AccountView, Visma.NET, Ridder iQ, Trimergo ERP and Syntri ERP. Invoices of a repetitive nature, such as rental invoices or insurance notes, can easily be coded and booked with this new feature. The first time, the user creates the entry as desired, whether the entry consists of one or more lines. All relevant line variables can be defined, such as general ledger accounts, cost centers and carriers or the reporting date. When the booking is defined as desired, the user can create a repeating entry booking with that data and additional fields. SUPPORT EXACT ONLINE PREMIUM
Starting with version 9.7, the link with ImageCapture and Exact Online is also available to customers using Exact Online Premium.

Our support staff will evaluate whether you can perform this update yourself, or with the help of paid consultancy (remote or onsite).
Because of the large number of requests to perform the update by our support professionals, you should take a lead time of approximately 1 month into account. Keep this in mind when planning the update of your ImageCapture environment.
